u need to go down to GM, get yourself an "EGR block off plate" they usually run anywhere from $6-$20 depending on the deal you can make with your dealer. MAKE SURE YOU USE SHORTER BOLTS-if you use the stock EGR bolts (alan headed) you WILL bottom them out and its not going to work.

just leave the unit un-pligged and hide the sensor plug somewhere out of the way.

u can either deal with your CEL being on all the time, or get yourself your own hptuners unit and delete the CEL permanatly from your computer, or send it out to get tuned. i used shifted tuning, look up ron beyer (shifted) on here, he can help you with all your computing needs.

it really depends on the TB you are using as to how you will ho abouts doing it. I modified the 2.4 throttle bracket and throttle wheel to fit on the 2.3 TB and to make it fit in the tighter constraints of the automatic. All I used was a dremel tool and cutoff wheel. The only pictures i have of it arent great but if you want i can try and post them up for you.

Dont worry, it has been pulled back down and cleaned and painted some but you can see how i cut the throttle bracket to make it fit around the "ridge" on the auto. now again i used the 2.4 throttle wheel and modified 2.4 throttle bracket on the 2.3 TB and so far put about 7,000 miles on it with no issue. there is probably a better way of doing it such as using the parts of a 95 cavy with 2.3 but i couldn't find one in the yards near me so i made it work. best of luck, and chose the way that makes it the most comfortable to you. now if you have cruise i can explain how i did it later.

check for vacum leaks, that was one issue i ran into mainly because the old guy at the parts store sold me bolts that were too short. look for air leaks and make sure all the hoses are in the right spots, especially the MAP sensor. best of luck.

Ok im back. i started the car again and it sounds like its missing idk Y. could it be a vac. leak or do i need to get a gasket. idk y its doin this. all the injecters are in? thanks

Are you useing gaskets on both the manifold and the t/b? I dought its the injectors. Just make sure u have all vacum lines pluged in and the other
ones caped off that arent being used. Whats it ideling at?

it idels around 12oo. i have to order a flange. thats what it is. Thanks guys for helpin me out with this.

one thing to think about mine is running good unflanged. i just used "orange" hi-temp RTV and have no problems. now the adapter flange is on the list to get, amongst other things, just really saying it can work without. but being a high idle check and make sure the throttle cable isnt holding the TB butterfly valve open also check the cruise control cable for same if you have it. then check your vacum lines and especially the brake booster lines for leaks. the only time i ever had a vacum leak large enough to raise the idles it was the brake booster line that did it. well again best of luck.
