I am running a 10" resonator and a high-flow magnaflow cat. No muffler. The turbo also helps as a noise-reducer. My car isn't raspy and isn't that loud.

My 93 with turbo has a different sound... nothing like I've heard on a 4 cyl before. It isn't loud, but the tone is very low and you can tell it's coming a long way away. I keep wanting to call it a rumble, but ln2 and exhaust rumble are two terms that just don't belong together.
I'm using a high flow cat and Dynomax muffler w/ 2.25" (IIRC) pipes.

remember to account for wind and camera's for those who have heard my car at the dyno place, know its not raspy. sounds 100% stock at idle and cruising, but when i get on it. it makes some noise.
