ok I just got a call telling me that the body work is complete and the car is in primer.That i need to go and take them the paint tomorrow, and tell them how im gonna want the car tomorrow, since its getting sprayed. heres a cheap MS paint idea i have on what i want, but i dont know if i divided the paint correctly, or how should i divide it?
yea thats not the shade of blue or pink that im going with, its just a rough idea. so what do u guys think? (even though i know most of u hate pink, but what the hell)
oh dont mind the wheels, im not doing that, im keeping my white 18's until i can afford some 19's, and the hood is CF
since it is getting sprayed tomorrow, you have already come up with the scheme. but i believe with your color choices and c/f hood, this scheme may be better for what you are going with...
now it doesnt have to be exactly like this, but with the blue on top and the white wheels, i believe this scheme would look pretty sick. but this is all my opinion. good luck with what you do man. this is a big step to finishing your exterior. keep us updated guy.

yea i like that style, its just that i cant afford it. they said theyll do a two tone, but it has to be in a straight line. if i want something else its considered "custom" and costs like double the price
and i dont have that money, so im just gonna have to stick with this. thanks for the responses ppl nd keep em coming, ill show completed pics around enxt week after it gets buffed, unless i get too excited and decide to just show it like that.
Hmm, looks good man, but I dunno about the colors... pink and blue. Guess I need to see it, but it seems like a risky combination imo. Best of luck man, can't wait to see the pics!

dont like silver. well i already went and bought the paint and took it to them. they said it should be ready by next tuesday, cant wait to get it!!! im also getting some flakes added to the clear coat, and my CF hood is also getting recleared w/flakes, so lets see how it turns out. on a side note, i just bought a 94 cavalier as a DD, which im gonna kit too next week.
I dont understand why you made all those xtra bodylines and then are gonna run a paint line right down the car that doesnt flow with any of the widebody lines.........makes no sense to me.
I hope there is something to break up the color difference like airbrushing or vinyl design, I cant stand when 2 colors just meet like that.
you're not painting the headlight housings like that are you?
imo, its gross a color combination. i personally think its going to ruin all the work you put into it, but its not my car. good luck with it.

I'm not sure...I can't really tell from that pic if I would like it or not, but I do think that I would have to have something to separate the two colors....I don't know. I guess I'll have to wait to see pics of it after it's done before I know if I'll like it.
yea the body lines did cross my mind. but i think it should look fine. ive seen a focus in my city its a 2 tone also, divided diagonally, but only across the door, not from the front bumper to the rear of the car. anyway, this car looks fine without any line dividing the 2 colors. someone mentioned using vinyl graphics, i thought about it then i figured it would look cheap and graphics wouldnt really flow with the car, but what do u guys think? i could always give it a shot, and if i dont like it, i can just take em off, but ill be wasting money uselessly.

r u f****** serious? BLUE AND PINK?!? that has got to be the ugliest paint scheme and design ive ever seen. better rethink that one! that could be a sweet car but sure as HELL not with that paint!
