Sorry to bring this back from the dead but did anyone ever get the part number for the door? I did E-mail SpeedRacerZ, but I didn't want to put the burden on him. so if someone else has it would you mind passing it one?
Grand am 96-98 fuel door popper will work.
why not use a magnetic cabinet door holder than you push to unlatch and shave the nubbin off the stock gas cap?
The door release part I'm not worried about, just need a door to do it with, lol
Go check out the dodge magnum gas door. No latch, or hole for your finger - Simply push on the opposite end and pop the other end open.

Thread from the dead!
Does anyone have pics of this on the car, but open? I need to see what the latch part looks like.
I have a door... but I'm missing the catch. I have the cable, and the release handle... but won't be using them. I want to convert to an electronic style, fed off my alarm remote or use a cable release from the trunk as a backup. I've had the door release from the Buick Park Avenue (donor car for the L67 swap) around forever.. but it's way too big to fit the J-body.
