My thoughts and prayers are with both families. It sucks to even think about this happening to someone at all. But it does happen, it's just a very unfortunate situation.

Is there any word on Chris' condition? I read thru all the posts and it seems like he is still alive? any confirmation?

Like I said, I called early this morning and got verbal confirmation from the patient information department at the hospital that he is still alive but in critical condition in the ICU. I'm not going to call again mainly because I have no relation nor connection to Chris. I just felt compelled to get this information to JBO asap with as much confirmation as I could on the information I was presenting.

If somebody who knows Chris and Kasey would like to update this thread for the rest of us, please feel free to do so.

On this sad note, I'd like to encourage everyone to PLEASE wear your seatbelts ANY time you're in a car.

Actually, here in America, seat belts are now required use by a 50-State wide Law.

This really is unfortunate to see, as I think they would have both had minor injuries
if seat belts were worn. I'm so sorry. so young, so sad to see it happen...
Please pray for Chris...

Lord, I pray that you watch over the families & friends of the young ones effected by this tragedy and you help them to heal and to never forget the many lives whom they've touched. Chris, May God's angels keep watch over you and help you heal. Kasey, I pray that you are walking with Jesus in Heaven.

I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

RIP Kasey, may GOD be your Shepard

My prayers are with you.

And I feel really bad for Chris, if he pulls though this, he will have to live with the fact that he was driving the car when it got in the accident that killed his girlfriend. My heart goes out to him because if the tables were turned and I was in his situation and my husband died, i won't be able to go on.

Chris hang in there

JBO is with you

I'm so sorry

This is like having flashbacks back to when my best friend's brother died. Have known him my whole life, was driving his probe in the rain and went head on with an explorer. The pain that family is going through right now is underscribable and fortunately unimaginable. I sat in the front pue of the church with my friends family as the casket walks by and I pray to God that Chris' family doesn't have to experience the heartbreak my friend's family did on that day. I am not trying to thread jack, or ask for sympathy, I just needed to post about it. I think about Ryan everyday, and people don't realize how many lives they've touched until they're gone. From the looks of it Chris and Kasey were very well-loved and this is why we say God works in mysterious ways However, now Kasey is amongst the angels in Heaven looking down on Chris so all we can do is pray for him.

p.s- sorry for the rambling, just do not speak of my friends accident all that much, and i just cant put thoughts together right now. I did feel obligated to post in this thread and try to help everyone somewhat comprehend the pain the families are going through...unfortunately.
