u know what I just thought of, maybe we should all give our email info so when this thing becomes official we can be emailed. I know that a lot of people just end up sayin screw it because the thread gets to big or a definate date is never set or they forget about it. If we can get a list of emails and whoever gets this thing up and running can mass email everyone that would b cool.

thats a good idea, since i started the post I'll take responsibility for emailing everyone once this gets official.
To update everyone Filip is looking into securing us a parking lot at stop and shop in westerly. For anyone who knows it it is a VERY big parking lot, and on the busyest of days it is only 25-35% full. Plenty of room for us. But his friend is in charge of the S&Ps in RI and is seeing if he can guarantee us a little area out back so that we cannot get harrased by the employees there, or even the local po pos. If this works it would be such a great feeling to have a po po pull up and turn them around and send them back to the station without anyone of us leaving. But anyways, so that would be a meeting spot for us, Thursday im back from vacation so probably this friday i will talk to the guys at On Demand about the use of the dyno for the day. Then that would be probably two of the biggest projects with organizing this thing. wed have a place to stay, and the dyno that we all want. maybe the only other thing is possibly a cruise route, and a place to eat? anything else im missing? looks like this is finally happening and coming to gether, still no more people for the dyno though? id like to show them a hefty list if possible... the more people who guarantee a yes the better our chances are for having it for the day.
If my car is done by this date, i'll hop on and shoot for 400whp

ie $60 for three pulls...obviously more for those that would like some tuning...

Hey guys, sorry for the quietness, been sick as well you know. Wednesday I am going to the Dyno to check out prices and all that goodie good junk. So then i will update you guys and HOPEFULLY we can lock some people into coming. I got another idea for a parking lot if i dont hear anything back from philip. hopefully he can get his thing though that would be better but my idea will do. small update. hope everyones doing good, and i said the same damn summer stuff on already? dont know how much ill have on by the meet or if my car will even be fixed, got some stuff that came up also. but hope that keeps everyone updated till wednesdays post. enjoy
yup summer stuff is on i got sick of looking at my car with the wheel covers and bra on the front of it so i took it all off put my eye lids back on and my rims back on and parked it in my garage. im driveing my winter beater now. 1996 escort lx hatchback with 120K on it and that thing scared the hell out of me
what about a hood with eyelids? i love fires with those, hehe my winter car - my cavalier - is parked and im driving my lowrider 96 ford ranger, carbon hood, drift bodykit, tsw 17" ribs are off but need new tires neways, projector headlights blah blah blah it goes on and on lol.

Update: Unofficially, we can use the Stop & Shop parking lot. My friend told me that as long as we stay out of the way of customers and don't do any stupid stuff then we should be left alone for the most part. I brought up the fact that it might be considered loitering so he's checking with his father now. His father is the general manager for all Stop & Shops in RI so hopefully he'll give us the go-ahead. Kevin, keep us posted on the dyno situation.
On another note, I may or may not be able to make it to the meet. I might have a fraternity social planned and my g/f and I have our one year anniversary on the first weekend of April, possibly the same weekend as the meet. If we can set a solid date and once it gets closer to April I'll be able to give you guys more info.

alright, my car might be in the damn body shop on the first week, so im going to shoot for the second week in april, just keep us updated with your friends father, and friday i will be going to the dyno place, last week i was freakin horribly sick, and this week, i got two extra days of OT, so friday, no questions about it, goin to dyno.
If its on the second week then there's a better chance of me making it. I was actually horribly sick last week, too, haha. My grades suffered and I'm behind in some work but I'm finally catching up. My spring break starts late next week so I'm going to work real hard to get my car ready for the meet.
How does the second weekend of April sound for everyone?

Update: My friend's father stated that it shouldn't be a problem. He did say that he can't officially do anything about it because its not a district that he oversees. Technically, that area is considered part of Connecticut (according to Stop & Shop). I'm going to try and call the Stop & Shop manager either tomorrow or Saturday to get approval/denial. I'll keep everyone posted.
Kevin - what was the other meeting place you mentioned that could be a possibility? Would it be easier for us to get permission to meet there?
By the way, I'm very excited and I just want to get it off my chest, but I was voted as Vice President of my fraternity earlier tonight. I'll be overseeing our first pledge class and hopefully be in office when we become and official chapter. Sorry, just had to let it out.
