Before I pulled my engine which was a 2.2L OHV (2200) it had 116,000km on it and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now I have the 2.2L eco with only 43,000km on it. The eco is an amazing engine.

61,000 miles on my 1996 tin can.
1997 2dr with 268,xxx miles.....alernator and rack and pinion being the only two things changed (rack was a recall). original engine and trans.
Just hit 108,000 miles on a 1998 2.2... but everything is broken: no more ABS, A/C, needs an alignment, etc.
I just hit 105,000 on my way home from work tonight. Nothing wrong with and never had to replace anything just regular maintenance stuff.
2005 Cavalier Base 5 spd- 80,000 Miles- Eats front hubs and 3rd gear synchros like they're going out of style...

Getting real close to 147,000 on my 99'. Needs a tune up and an oil change...but other than that still runs sweet. The radiator was the first thing that went out and had to be replaced (a year ago?).....then the shifter cables died.....so far that's it.

Rememeber kids... spell check is your friend
122,943 miles on my 2001...intake manifold gasket is the only thing I've had to replace other than the obvious engine oil and coolant
