Well, this is a project already underway in our shop in the midst of about 10 other projects but i think it might interest a lot of you ecotec turbo guys... An all aluminum ECOtec intake manifold! And for a better price then those already existing as well! I have some pictures that will posted within the next day or two to show to progress... details are:

The collector on this baby is 307cubic inches, and each runner has a 1-3/4 inside diameter! this thing can move some serious air.

Wow. That's huge. A lot larger than many people here need.

Wouldn't a smaller/cheaper one sell more?

Naaaa, and the price is pretty low as it is. If anyone requests it would be no problem to make it a little smaller.

personally... i think actual the welding where the horns are is a little tacky (not the weld but having a weld there itself) but it does look awesome. good job AGAIN vulcan!

Having the welds on the inside helps create a smoother transition, otherwise its kinda a rough edge.

Sorry we dont supply the throttle body. Ebay would probably be the best bet, it appears they have a few on there for about $50-$100
Just make sure when ordering one you get the cable driven not electronic.

needs longer runners , and the runners need horns on the end , to aid airflow into the runner

I'd definately get on this but thatd be too big to use with my saab setup lol, would it be the same price getting a smaller one made? Also any way u can flip the throttle body over to the passenger side? My charge pipe runs. To the passenger side, shouldn't be too hard to flip it the other way around wouldn't it?

same price for a smaller collector. Could put the throttle body anywhere, not sure how well that would fit tho.
