I missed this thread before, so I just skimmed through it. So far you have a really cool build. I really like that console you made. The flat black touch looks very factory.

You dont wanna see the price tag on fab work im getting done at RD Fabs in a month then.

Thanks. I have a few "minor" mods that'll be done for spring time as well as gathering parts for a one or two major mods.

Thanks, the flat black does match very well but is a PITA w/o having it cleared. The Gunmetal i redid it in also ties in with the stock color well too, plus i have the added bonus of clear coat.

I do have plans for a few one-off items and features, but i dont want to post about them until they are done. Mainly because im afraid they'll become like every other "plan" in this thread, scrapped.

Well the exhaust is on and with the colder weather the car has found a new set of balls. I am very happy with the header the guys at RD Fabs made. The sound is tolerable, but it still is one of the loudest 4 bangers in my area.

Incase some of you missed the pics here is the header:

Other than that i have been saving to pick up a x-mas present im giving my car(that i finally picked up yesterday):

The other sides and rear are spoken for. Also dont be shocked if it doesnt make it to the car for a year or so. I either A. have to pick up another vehicle to daily beat on(once the car and college are paid off) or B. move off of this @!#$ dirt road.

Thanks guys im just glad that i finally picked up a kit, but like i said it will most likely be a while before it get installed.

I did get a 2.9" pulley X-mas so that knocked one item off the "get done for springtime" list. Which includes.

Meth
Larger H/E(Im looking for one roughly 36"x7"x2"-3", but cannot find one)
Larger injectors(Im thinking 60s)
Racetronix F-body fuel pump
Tein SSs(Next purchase for the car)
Progress rear sway bar(purchased with the Teins)
Skwirl HPTune
Im also thinking about getting the valve springs i need so i can toss the cams in. I'll make that decision after the Teins.

I am also wanting RD Fabs to take a stab at the following:
Some type of Option B
LS1 TB adapter
A simple intake(not an intake manifold)
I'll be going up there for fitment and funding, just like i did for the header.

After all that is done then it will be time to move onto collecting parts for the spare L61 i have. Even thou i am collecting "show" parts my main focus is "go".

Well i finally have the motivation to attempt to clean my engine bay, but wont have the time until this weekend. But today in the mists of playing phone tag with a potential job and fixing my little brother's Saturn SL2 i managed to get one of my spare cam covers painted. My original idea was the rattle can color changing paint(kinda like Wayder's cav), but i couldnt find any. I'll admit i didnt look THAT hard. I knew i wanted an uncommon color for it, but nothing seemed good enough until i saw "Orange Mist". The paint isnt perfect, but is good enough and it should look great with the stock ignition cover.

And also after 4 months i finally have my spare eco on the engine stand.

Due to financial problems i have no idea when more major mods will take place.
