Well i didnt get as much done this weekend as i wanted do to my neck hurting(hurt to move my head).
But i did get my battery installed, tensioner, and alternator installed/positioned. The intake mani is just sitting in place and the dipstick is in the way.
And yes the dualpass endplate clears the oil filter housing.
I like coming home to boxes.
Just my new "intake", oil pressure gauge adaptor, and random weather pack connectors.
Also 2 pieces of my exhaust also arrived. 36" maggy "muffler" resinator(the thing is huge and im hoping it'll fit under the car) and a tip.

I have classes this week but the week after is "spring break" so hopefully i'll get everything buttoned up except for a few odds and ends. I'll also take some pics of the endplate clearance.

Not where I would have put the battery, but good progress.
I say just go with "tinkles" as the plate. It's by far the most unique outta the selections you've got there. Seriously with the number of "blown" and "bagd" J's around here that would just be another one to the group. Now tinkles on the other hand...you're the only one...thank god lol.

Thats not 100% true, there are a few others that use that "handle". I only know this because of some things i try to use that name for i find that it has already been taken.

Well there is some good news and some bad news.
Good news: Im on spring break this week, so i'll be finishing the cav(except for a few odds and ends).
Bad news: My USB cable for my camera is at my apartment, so no pictures till i go back.
So anyhow, this is what got done today:
New upper radiator hose installed
Dipstick was bent out of the way of the manifold
Finished rewiring/cleaning up my airride wiring
Finished removing the battery tray
Installed new body grounds
Now i need some feedback.
Any tips/tricks for installing the intake manifold support bolt(on the bottom of the manifold)? Im assuming that i have to use a long extension and go between the alternator and block.
Also i have the stage 2 belt and a 3.1" pulley. They dont sound like they mix to well. I believe its the stage 2 belt, cuz it was on a balt with a 2.79" pulley. Do you think i'll be able to get away with it or should i grab a stock belt?

as far as i can help on the intake mani bolt i just got my hands in behind it as best i can and then used an extension 2 tighten. oh and i no ur in a diff state but im already using blwn cav as a plate here in ohio lol
ARG! Im a idiot.
My original intake idea wont work which means i have to send the filter back and get one for a 2.75" tube instead of 3". The 6" length of intake tube i bought and painted is going to have to be paint practice part. I could have figured this out by test fitting the S/C before hand or paying attention to the engine bays of you S/Ced guys i could have figured it out.
Plumbing the dualpass and H/E is proving to be a task. There is no room. The most "efficient" way is actually pushing the fan closer to the rad. by 1/4". The fan blades still clear the rad. so IDK.
Not to mention i gotta put together some type of fill tank for the H/E.
Anyone want to finish this for me?

Im pretty sure that a slimmer fan will solve my clearance issue, but i really dont have the money to spend on one at this moment.
As for the tank, i have no idea.
