Get a couple 90* hoses, those worked perfect for me.
Well according to Cody our radiators are able to be adjusted towards the front of the engine bay. Who would have known.
I was able to gain some clearance by moving that rad. and it should be enough to get me buy until the summer until i get a slimmer fan.
I also stopped at the dealer to see about the reflash and they highly doubt they can get it for me. So it looks like im going straight to HPT.

As of 1am my intake manifold is installed and my dualpass is plumbed. Its ugly but will work until i get a slimmer fan so my other set-up clears.
Im hoping to have the actual S/C bolted down tomarrow and my H/E ready to be mounted.
I'll have pictures here soon.
I got pictures!!
The manifold is on.
And so is the M62!!
I still have to space out the injector cups for the LSJ injectors, which probably means that i'll have to unbolt the S/C but i dont care. Im just happy that it's on. I still have to wire in the TMAP and finish plumbing and mounting the H/E.
If everything goes as planned all that should be left after next weekend is the T/B adapter and a tune.
One last pic of my dirty car in our dirty garage.
I cant wait to get it out and cleaned up so i can finally experience this thing called "boost".

Also after we roll my fenders im going to try to fit my old 16" Sport Edition CDs(7.5" wide with a 35mm offset) back on it. Im not too wild about the rims, but anything is better than those steelies.

I already have that and i have a place picked out for mounting it.
Well this weekend went well. My cousin came over and helped today.
I found some washers that are just about perfect for spacing the injectors cups for use with the LSJ injectors.
That means the injectors and fuel rail were installed. I got the bypass valve "plumbed" right and the S/C bolted down for good.
I ran a better body ground for my battery and a few more odds and ends.
We finished plumbing the H/E and got it mounted. I mounted the cobalt fill tube using the throttle cable bracket, bent it in a vise and drilled two holes.
We also but the belt on and check for clearances near the hoses. No rubbing.
I am just waiting on parts now. I just need the cobalt TMAP and connector, TB adapter, and the reflash. I'll be ordering the H/E pump plug and the rest of my intake this week.
I'll also finally be installing my TTR tranny mounts this week too.

I'm not sure the Part # off the top of my head, but my S/C kit from the GM SEMA car used the MAP sensor that is used on the 2.4LD9 M45. I can go take pics tomorrow and show how it is wired and all if you want. Just tossing that out there in case it will save you money or not.
I tried the part number off your sensor and the dealer wants a @!#$load for it. I did buy a TMAP off a guy on Cobaltss.net for $35.
how many washers did u use to space the injectors cups?
looks great kyle!!!
got any pics of the 16's your putting on?

I used 2 washers for each cup. Im not 100% comfortable doing it this way, but the LSJ injectors are not staying on the engine the whole summer.

Its a bad pic and you dont get see the colors that well.
If these rims fit, its going to be very close.
The TMAP arrived today and the H/E pump connector and intake componets are ordered. So i just need a TB adapter and the reflash.
And i need someone to buy my BC2 front....
Well not alot happened over the weekend. My cousin and i just tossed in my TTR tranny mounts that i have had sitting around for atleast a year. Im still waiting on parts.
Once we get my cav done then it'll be time to put a LS1 on the bottle.

nice cams once u get them in with the reflash u gotta let me know cause i'm looking into doin blower cams. What kind of springs u goin with?
Chances are that i'll be going with a set of Super Tech springs that PJ found on ebay(if i can find them once i have the $$$). They are the same exact specs as the GMR springs, but only cheaper. FYI, chances are that i wont be running the reflash that long after the cams go in.
