Me too paul....I have talked to law enforcement about our arrangement, and timeline....basically he has bought himself some time out of the slammer. If he doesn't pay up though, he goes in for sure.
i have talked to everyone and made arragements and if u go to jail that means no1 will get anything!! but everything is all good i am in contact with some ppl
Actually that is not true, you can go to jail AND still have to pay us back.

This is just utterly ridiculous. I wish everyone good luck, this douche needs some serious punishment - not jail. Like he said he's been there- its a vacation for him. He doesnt have to worry about what hes gonna eat, how he is going to eat. He has a roof above his head, a meal, and a bed - its heaven for a douchebag which is exactly why he will keep doing it.
Honestly, I'm glad cooler heads prevailed - because if he screwed me, and if I would have read some of his comments afterwards the drive from montreal would be a lot shorter, but I'd be a wanted man in the states - after burning the b@st@rd's house down.
Honestly, after reading this whole topic, and the countless others that were linked - which was hours of reading material, even if you get your refund don't drop charges. The world is always conforming to the bums in it, and this is one of the chances we have to get back at them- DO IT!
it completely blows my mind that a complete scum bag like that can actually have the audacity to insult people and say the @!#$ he is saying amidst all of this going on. I got scammed out of $80 and i out almost as much effort as joey did into getting info, got my money, and his local police took care of it from there. If a single scam of $80 can get the amount of trouble that guy got, i can't imagine what this tool is in for. BTW, before you try and look like a tough guy, and treat people like this through all the scamming... some of us travel for a living and prefer the mid-west... and don't mind getting a couple days off when they stay at their central location in South Bend...
ALSO, A lot of us on here are friends, and as you can see they look out for each other. So before you run your mouth to a forum of 35K+ members who look out for each other and live and travel in ALL parts of the country, think long and hard. I hope the cops tear you a new one through and through.
