Melting Spark Plugs 95 quad 4 2.3L

Hey guys I race a 95 cavalier with the 1 year 2.3L motor. I am having some pretty serious issues. I put new plugs in it to bring it out for practice and melted two of the plugs. The whole tab is gone, part of the electrode is all messed up and even a bit of the thread. I then read about needing better plugs for higher rpm. So i bought some nice 10$ AC delco professional plugs and put them in. In my race this weekend i melted another plug. in one of the same cylinders it happened before. The other plugs all looked 100% fine. No sign of any issues. I am really having a hard time figuring this one out? Maybe a clogged fuel injector? Maybe the stock injectors cant keep up. I run around 3000-6000 rpm steady. Race is only about 25minutes. I am going to check the ohm's of the injectors and check for a vaccumm leak tonight. You guys have any other ideas? I could try switching two injectors and see if the problem moves with it. But its hard to reproduce. The track is about a 2 hour drive.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Thanks,
Kevin
