I think those are the ngk's. I pulled the part # from the n20 FAQ, may be wrong, I'll have to double check... that or someone said that 103's were the same exact specs and only $3 each haha, can't remember which I bought........... But I mean it sas NASCAR, come on!

Didn't get as much done as I wanted too. The drill was wayy too loud at 2am to be drilling my exhaust flange.

Fuel system is complete. Put a little gas in the tank, primed it (loud ass pump) while looking for leaks, all checks out. No harness yet, but once its running and out of the garage, that's my next project. it goes hand in hand with re-wiring my amps, so I'll wait. Dropping the tank turned out to be a sinch on these cars.

Pic of my sweet stereo/gauge mount. its solid aluminum. Crazy cool... but yeah, I need to finish the interior after this.

I've never heard about the Autolight plugs.

Those autolite plugs wont work. They are the same thread and seat design, but are over 1/4 inch too short. The equivalent Autolite plug is 5263. If you're wanting a cheap copper plug, go with the SRT-4 champion plugs. PN# 470/RE14MCC5 or in my case, I run NGK 4306 copper plugs.

SRT-4 plugs are not the proper length either. What the @!#$ is wrong with buying the right goddamn plug? You dump the money into boost then cheap out on improper plugs.

Okay so what is the proper 1 step colder plug? Tell me, and Ill buy em. I bought those in a rush down to summit, and look who wasted $12 <-----

SRT-4 plugs are just fine in our cars. Me and countless others have ran them with no problems whatsoever. As far as I am concerned they are the right plug.

They work for some but cause problems for others. They are NOT the same length as the factory plugs which can cause issues. On the other hand the LTR6IX-11 and LTR7IX-11 are the same exact length as stock.

Let's please not debate plug choices in my build thread. I'll do some reading of the above, and some of what I find, and let you guys know what I decide on running. Most likely SRT-4's, just cause I like roofy.

LOL, you can run whatever plug you like, we are just debating our preferences on plugs for like the 100th time.

haha. at least i didn't start a spark plug thread

But if Mr. Hahn runs the srt-4's, I have no problem running them. as for threads sticking out, why not just dremel sand the last 2 threads down a bit? No worries of thread damage in the head then

tell me you are joking? why dremel threads when you can order a correct length?

I'm in the understanding that the srt-4's stick out 1-2 thread lengths. This doesn't bother me, but there are concerns of carbon buildup stripping the threads in the head.
Oh, and I like using my dremel =)

Copper plugs man. Proven since ever.

Yeah.... don't dremel the plugs. If you're concerned about length go with the LTR7IX-11's. I used to have pics of the NGK's in an eco head and they didn't stick past at all. I think someone posted it in the thread I linked to.

Just get the correct plug thats is known to be correct with NO ever issues.

Its $40 a year.....if you cant afford that yearly you maybe shouldnt have a boosted car.

I converted to a spark plug less system...

On with the build!!

I've lost a little motivation, doing bits and pieces here and there. I've got the exhaust fitted, that's about it.

Waste of another day running errands, I'll post progress pics as it all comes together soon.
Here's what took me about an hour to drill and fit tonight....

Not much, but progress. Exhaust is pretty much done, let see all that's left now is:
-Dipstick Bolt to 2.4 intake. (theres a spot that will take a nut behind it, but its tiny)
-Injector harness
-Torque down exhaust - narrow bands /w copper crap
-Run wide-band and fuel pressure sender wires.
-Boost gauge line.
-Put the charge pipes on.
-Fire her up!

I did pick up a g-reddy (sp?) EBC for like $10 its all in japaneese, so I'm gonna hold off on that for a while, but from what little English is on the box, it's pretty sick. Pics of my new goodies tomorrow.

I got the reusable 2.5" aluminum gaskets for the down pipe. The o2 housing to turbo is good ol Mr.Gasket.
-4AN m to f with a 1/8npt for the sender is in the mail also, should be here in a day or 2. Need to figure out where to mount a 3rd gauge. I'll be running glowshift boost and FP gauges, then an AEM wideband gauge. Unless this A/F glowshift gauge that my buddy gave me will work with the aem harness. Probally sticking with the aem gauge.

I can probally knock this all out in like 3 hours, I've just been so lazy haha.

And fine... this time JBO proven is the way I'm going with plugs. The only condition of accepting defeat is that I get to cruise my old (1 month new delco's) down to summit to buy the NGK's. Also I have about $40 in returns to summit, figured I'd put it to good use.

Get it done already!!! I can't count the number of times I've worked an 8-12 hour shift at work, only to come home and add another 2-6 hours on top while working on my sunflower!!!!

That being said, once my re-build is done, I might have to cruise up to summit and check out your ride.

Can I get away with the FMU, and only changing my injector constant with HPT? Or is that a question for the tuning forum?

They're 63cc@43.5psi and 900cc@87psi

I don't see the need for an FMU on our cars.
