Haha someone just threw a quarter stick in the front yard and I have to go to work in an hour figured I'd post now. My new trans is in along with 24mm sway bar and strut mounts to fit the d-specs, so i may be painting the quarters and rear bumper tommorrow. Then I can mount the doors fenders trunk and hood. Progress halted when the trans went in and past two weekends were parties for the younger brothers.

@ Freelancer They threw it in the pool, no damage but needless to say it was nerve racking that early in the morning.
Yesterday I got the drivers quarter prepped for paint. Today I am going to get the passenger side and rear bumper. I may even paint. We'll see though.

Passenger door and quarter panel almost done, pictures tommorrow.
Overspray is a result of my first time using a HVLP gun. Will be cleaned up after clear is sprayed.
Im guessing you meant why DIDNT I take out the tailights. The trunk was sprayed already, the quarter was what needed painting. Overspray is everywhere, I am not by any means a talented painter. This is all a learning process.
love the idea, incorporate the Chevy emblem , gm logo and and american flag in there and it will be bad ass. go over some of your thinner lines and yo should be good. very creative idea. keep up the good work!!

So me and the "mrs" we're brainstorming and critiquing how the passener side same out and discussing where the driver side would lead. She said that the the passenger door and fender seemed disconnected. Then she threw out an awesome idea. We are both really into marine biology along with our focus on art and she said that an octopus with extended tentacles would complement the current design really well. So be prepared for that....
As far as progress goes, i still need to deal with the front bumper, and also get the roof rack painted and decide if I want to install it or not. I will also be doing the home depot lip, and 35% tint.
