Those one piece lights in black are nice. I have known a couple people to buy the black ones.

I got the chrome on trade so I figured instead of dropping $150 on a new set, why not try making my own. Worse case, I ruin them and have to buy a set anyways.

Got my set of aerocatch latches in... Now to get them fitted.

Threw the car together in an attempt to go autoxing tomorrow. Please excuse the panel fitment.

Saturday was crap... Dnf'd two of my three morning runs and spun all three of my afternoon runs. After my last run I came to the realization that the supercharger belt had worn through a coolant hose.

Fixed the car sat night and got back out today. Traction that was absent yesterday was there today. Placed 3rd in class and 31st overall out of 73 drivers. 0.8 of a second is all that seperated 20th to 31st place. Overall I'm pretty happy with how the car did.

Went racing again against my better judgement...

And then this happened...

Luckily somebody at the event was able to trailer it home for me

Cliff notes: racing, broke clutch master/pedal connection, quick release bumper ftw

I would have drove it home without a clutch. Pretty easy to do.

Trailer it home for the cost of gas or risk ruining a transmission on the 1.5 hour drive home... Seems like a no-brainier to me.

glad to see the car back out, sucks about the radiator hose and clutch linkage....but at least you got to wring it out some on the course. I haven;t auto crossed in forever.

My mind is boggled by how you somehow fit all that rubber under that sedan. What size are your sets and what brand? I see the 245s are Hankook V12s....

Old tires were 245/40/17 hankook k110 v12 evo.
New tires are 255/40/17 hankook rs3. Best street tire I've driven on to date.

Car looks great Spencer! Love the front look. I have the same RS3's on my sedan but in 245 and I agree they are a great tire. I have no complaints on them for street driving.

Thanks vinny!

Short clip of the car doing work before I broke it. I'm right around the 2:40 mark.

Yes sir!

In other news, fixed the clutch pedal linkage only to find that the slave still appears to be locking up and the master is now puking fluid. :/

I'll be replacing both once funds become available.

Just a short update... Haven't had $$ for the master/slave cylinders but have had a set of junkyard fenders laying around to play with...

Are you going to finish it off at the bottom like stock?

I'm still debating on what I'm going to do at the bottom but it will be open to help evacuate the air in the wheel wells.

In other words, it won't look stock.
