By no means am I bashing these types of cars but I have always been more impressed with daily drivers than full blown race cars. One of these days when I decide to stop being so broke I'll throw some real octane in mine crank the boost and throw a new tune in her. I honestly dont know how you guys pushing over 400 can even take advantage of these cars on the street. I mean my 340WHP is too much at times. So far I went over 400WHP in mine one time but 91 octane is just not cutting it so I had to pull out.
I remember when 225 WHP was impressive in our Js, lol. Been on the ORG too long

I know the first question almost EVERYONE asks "what kind of WHP can I get reliably" this type of thread might answer that with of course a million variables.

Its not that I couldn't drive my car daily, but honestly why would I want to? Everything on the car is one-off or not easily duplicated. With my paint, its not like I can just "touch it up" if i get dings or chips. I have no problem jumping in it and driving from STL to Ohio, I have done it many times. I have another car (2001 z24 SC) that gets me around and has some battle scars from parking lots(work and other placed) that prove to me more why I don't want to drive the other car everyday.

Haha, yeah..we were going to on this dyno session, just for laughs...but we learned we were maxing the 120 lb/hr injectors without the spray at this power level on boost only (our ACCEL-DFI engine management adds N20 enrichment via the main fuel injectors, a super-clean setup). The spray is only an assist to spool the big turbo, to primarily help with the silly large ratio drop from 1st to 2nd. The DFI shuts it off past 20 PSI of boost on the track, so this is not an issue when we race it.
