Steve, im gonna go to fukpack tommorow and they are gonna say how much its gonna be to fix, i hope they will get me a new front bumper instead of fixing it, then ill fix it eventually and ill have 2 just incase i get fuked again next summer, ill just have to pay my $200 deductable but they will tell me the damage, then if they make me 100% at fault, thats when i will bend over to get fuked again.
r-emz , that is at the intersection of Selkirk Avenue and Andrews Street, how did it happen you ask, it was about 2:30 in the morning and i was comming from 2hot4u's house and on my way home when i decided to take a short cut, it was dark the hole was full of watter and there was a car comming in the outher lane so i had no idea what i was instore for, next thing i know the left hand side of my car falls down into this thing, and i could not get out withought @!#$ my side and back skirts so i just stayed in the hole and hit my air ride all the way up, then i reversed out and infront of me i was looking at the pieses of my kit and then i got out and picked them up and looked at my bumper and said to myself "oh well, it was great till it lasted" and then i went home.
hey i'm new here so i need some pointers but here is my 2001 4 door cavalier. people problaly see me around maples area, car is not complete body work needs to be done. it will be done next year, carbon fiber hood not installed, NOS kit will be installed this friday, getting new 17' enkei rims, lambo doors will be completely done by this monday, i also have 2 visor lcd tv and 1 indash dvd lcd tv. and i have an xbox installed, i have exterior and interior eurolite underglow neon lights. and now for my engine, i have aem intake, aem 4-2-1 headers, msd ignition,auto transistor, voltage stablizers, front struts, and rk sports exuast. i problaly spend atleast close to 8g with labour with this car so far this year and if anyone knows who does great deals on body work please email me or if you see me around let me know. here is some pics of my 4 door cavy.[IMG]

hey. i just wanna share to all the j-body peepz that i will be swapping a northstar v8 (sts) on my cavalier this comming winter. i have all the neccessay equipments to install this huge v8 by winter hopefully be done by next year ready for the next summer but anyway if anyone knows anyone in winnipeg that did any kind of motor swap on a cavalier please let me know. i need a couple of pointers. this car will be a sleeper 4 door cavy, Subura wrx sti here i come. MUAHAHA!... 405WHP Superchaged v8 $7g invested on this engine it will be all worth it!!..

its already been done and the northstar v8 is a front wheel drive. a 1997 caddilac sts is 10gs atleast its not expensive. and its me, my dad, my 2 buddes and one of my buddies dad will be doing the swap so i'm not paying shizz all in labour. i'll be saving atleast 5gs on labour. the engine cost me 4gs and the engine harness, etc..are atleast 3gs. someone in the states already did it. and before i thought of swapping a v8 to a cavalier i ask around forums and they all said its not hard. if a mazda miata can fit a 5.0ltr mustang engine why not a cavalier. and plus i wont have that much problem cause chevy and caddillac are made by gm, all i need is to put more weight on the car. i think the project will do great. problaly wil take 7 months of work maybe a year with 3 days a week 5 hours a day. it will be a show winning car. i dont really wanna rush things. people will just see...once its all installed sponsors will be comming i can just see it. ahh!..
if this project doesnt turn well this winter then i'm just going to do a t3 turbocharge intercooled on the cavalier with 400 shot of nos. atleast 300whp on the cavy. not bad but i need more. but hopefully everything works out well i know theres going to be alot of major probelm thats why i bought an extra salvage 2001 cavalier from autopac. excited and nervous.

Lol of course, I don't the swap has even been done. People thought of it, but fitting is a factor. With alot of money it could be done. Might aswell put a down payment on a Ferrari with the amount of money being dropping into a Cavy.

yah i'm that guy. supra engine would be a hella lot of work. i need toyota parts as i need to buy a toyota supra to get everything done. when people give me advise at jspeed right away i looked for a northstar engine. its not expensive. remember its not no cts engine nor a escalade engine its a 97 sts engine with 180klms on the engine why does people think its going to be expensive. its alot of work but and alot of headache but it could be done. i'm not going to be spending 20g on the car. i'm doing this for originality. i talk to soo many mechanics and they all said its not imposible. just need time. people doubt things cause there ignorant but when they see it all they ask for is. (how did you do it) how much money did you spend blah blah...i put alot of thought and alot of questions ask before i thought of putting a v8 on my car. i just didnt dream of it and thought that it would work like a charm. belive me i know i'll be spending alot of money but it will be all worth it..........here are some of the cars that i know and read about it when they swaped there engine
1986 Mr2 with a 1990 V6 feiro engine
2001 accent with a 2003 v6 tiburon
1993 mazda 323 with a 1994 probe v6 engine
1994 mazda miata with a 5.0l mustang engine
this is some of the car i read about it and they all did it by them self, some of them got help from sponsors, if these people can do it they why not put the cavalier on that book. anyway i'll be comming in by this sunday in the ass.zoo wanna see some pimped out j-bodys. i nearly see 4 doors pimped out. maybe i see a couple.

I hope your finger slipped when you put 400, possibly meant to say 100. If not, put a firecracker in your ass, light it, and tell me how your ass feels. Yeah personally I don't think you'll be able to do it, I've seen the size of a northstar v8 and there is no way it will fit into a cavaliers engine bay, and I've seen pics of a guy who tried to put a v8 into his cavalier and the fitment was so off, the thing was blocking like half his windshield it stuck out so much. But if thats what you want good luck

everyone knows where to go? its the zoo entrance parking lot, inside ass park, close to the duck pond. And for the Northstar swap. Of course it can be done. With money, time, and expierience anything could be done. But I'm guessing, if most of wanted to drop that much money into a Cavalier, I don't think they would? Problem with the Northstar is fitting the transmission, I've heard it was a problem. Customize the starter too I believe. Anyways wishing you luck on the project. Don't forget to come out this Sunday, if you wanna drive there with me just tell me lol.
