that looks really good. If you had a nice clear daytime shot looking directly at the side of your car, it'd be even easier to make a sig.

hope that helps.

If you could get a side shot of the 'fire I could have it finished in no time.

So get this, last week I was at the car wash and keep in mind I've already washed the car many times since I bought it, but this time when I was washing my front bumper a huge chunk of paint comes flying off my front bumper it was too big for touch up paint so I already new it had to go in for a paint job so I went a little close with the pressure washer and paint from all over my front bumper just kept flying off, so I guess something happened to the front bumper from the previous owner that I don't know about because I sure know factory paint doesn't come off like that, anyways I got one quote already and it was 650$ to repaint my front bumper (yeah I'm a little mad ) does any one know of a good shop who does amazing work for a reasonable price??

its so hard to distinguish reputable shops from poor ones these days, especially in Winnipeg.

Unfortunately I think you're almost better off paying top dollar to have it done, as you'll more then likely be given a garauntee, or 1 year warranty or SOMETHING against chipping.

sorry to hear about the paint, especially since you just had your truflames done

I have yet to have a good experience with ANY body shop.

2hot4u Let me talk to my cousin and I'll see who does a good job. If I'm not mistaken it should only be around $200 maybe a little more all depending. I'll call 1quickj when I get to work and fill him in.

$650 for a repainted bumper my god thats wrong, shouldnt be more than $200-300 unless you have the trueflames on the front

So Red 98Zed what do you think of the flames?

Yup thats what I thought it would cost $250 to 300, but $650 thats just robbery. Oh and no flames on the front just the sides you should know that you saw it in person . I'm not sure if I want to paint it this year or wait till next year, because I'm still not sure if I'm winter driving my car or not, if I do decide to drive it this winter I'll wait till next year to paint it and if I park it I'll probably paint it before snow fall.

I REALLY like them. They look nice. I'm hopefully going to take pics of mine soon. Clear corners and bumpers should be in this Friday and I need to get a command Start installed. Going to cost quite a penny because its stick. If I were you I'd wait till next year regardless. You never know. Even if you dont drive it this winter you may want to get a aftermarket front bumper or something and the money could go towards that getting painted, or your beater.

Ok I have a question and you might think its stupid but I'll ask anyways, I keep trying to upload a picture into my jbody profile bit it keeps telling me the file size is to big, so I went into photoshop to try and make the picture a smaller size but I can't figure out how to re-save it as a lower quality picture. What do I do???
Re: winnipeg post them pics

Save-as.

Anyways that must really suck. Whenever I do my carwash, I place the gun as far as I can. Other than that, there's this place by my building that has real low pressure, almost like a mist. I usually wash my car that way, spray'er down, soap it up with a sheepskin mitt, microfiber clothes to dry, and you're good!

I tried save as but it doesn't let me change the quality, it only lets me change the file type. As far as the car wash goes I need crazy pressure or else the car doesn't get clean, my paint never chipped off because of the car wash it was because the car was obviously a hit in the front from before I owed the car and it wasn't painted properly.
