Personaly i think orlando sucks.....it's so overrated its not funny... i will have to agree with john and say Fort Lauderdale.
I am wondering what is going to happen with future shows. I know that there are people moving on with cars. Even here in JBO you are seeing people slowly falling. I may still keep my cavalier but may be next year or 2007 i will be getting another car. At that time i will see if i am going to keep it or not. (I may have to keep, the wife will be mad i spent all that money on the car to sell it).
It is fair to say if we have show shifts etc.. If Jax more people from Jax with show up If Miami more from that Area.

Now I'm not saying Fort Lauderdale is the place too have it. I'm saying vote and move it around. I think it is nice to go to differen areas, and see where others live etc... If I was to say a location I would say Tally. I know Deji will say cops suck, etc..but every location anymore has that problem. I have been to Tally and it is a nice area, and I think it could host a great meet because of the people that live there. Now people I'm not saying this is where it needs to be, I was just saying that would be a place I would vote for.

I would put a vote in for Tampa on the winter meet
we could even do a little show and cruise to howard park (a park that is on the beach) for a BBQ ---> there are also other paks i the area that one just came to mind

funny i went to my past regs and you havent been to any of the Orlando shows, so how can you say it sucks?
For the whole voting thing this needs to be done now because this year everything ran way to late in the game. Once we are all done voting then it will be do we make it a GM front wheel show or keep it a JBO show, and then we vote on where to have the winter meet and location.

Steve I think he meant Orlando in general not the meets.
Yes we need 2 votes up. One for where to have a winter meet (if we are going to have one), and Where to have the annual meet. Once that is decided we can vote on to let other GM cars in it or not.

orlando is overrated, but thats not the point. its in the center of the state and thats usually the best idea. i dont know why anyone would get so worked up about this stuff. if we all lived in delaware or something, we wouldnt even be having this problem, so everybody take a chill pill. im sure we'd all rather not drive 200 miles for this but thats the nature of living in this in florida. im sure wed all love to have it down the block from us but im not gonna jump out and say "homestead is the shiz-nite!!", that would be rediculous and selfish really. im done rambling, just my two cents

Anyway, the idea of keeping the spring/summer meet in Orlando and having the fall/winter meet be at a different location every time is a fantastic idea. That way you can attract people from all over the state with the winter meet and get everyone psyched enough to come to the summer meet.
