its good to see that these engines are living up to their reputation. I test drove an 03 Cav a while back and it was wonderful, but the only thing i found weird about it was that the power steering was really hard and I had a hard time steering, was that normal?
^^^ mine does that too.... my power steering fluid hold is leaking through the lid so i think that has something to do with it because i know of others having this same issue...
Yeah I have had some thoughts on a possible problem with the P/S

10,700 miles on my 2004 Cavalier...... 2,000 of those miles with the turbocharger. No problems.
Lightweights all of you! I have a 2002 with 108K miles on it now (I have a pretty long drive to work). The only problem I have had is my ignition took a @!#$ at 80K. The new one only ran me 135 bucks (my best friend is a parts guy at a dealership). Been lookin for a junk yard motor to install with fewer miles on it so I can rebuild the Eco I have now. Well theres my 2 cents.

4500 on my 03......dealer rebuild
John Harrington: so you say you have 108K on a ECOtec? :O HOLY @!#$ MAN.... get pics of the odometer or something.. LOL..... thats alot of miles for a 02...
Cool I will. When I went to buy my 2002 Cav I was going to get a 2.4 until the salesman told me about the Ecotec. I ended up waiting 3 weeks for one to come in to get the Eco, I think i got one of the first ones in Indiana. I will take some pics when I get off of work today, not sure how to post pics yet but I will figure it out.

I have 14,000 miles on my car. I got it in September of 2004 with 12 miles, and I have run 93 octane in it ever since. It runs like a charm and I hope to have this car forever.
I have around 50k miles on my 03, engine getting rebuilt soon, if GM ever puts out this damned supercharger.
