I forgot to tell ya the thread for the heli-coils on the turbo. They are a 8 x 1.25 IRC. The size is at home on a paper, but that sounds right to me. I think I ran 1 1/2" bolts, and like I said, find some type of lock-tite that could withstand the heat or else they like to back out every hundred or so miles.

couple updates. finally working on stripping down the interior to install the all power harness and to install all the parts to convert it to a manual car. couple pics to show i am working on it.

Finally your building it! lol...I still have the sunrood whenever ya decide you want to swap over....havent really like many sedans...select few, but this one looks like its coming together, keep it up!

thanks david. funds are short and luckily the 2 door has all the available parts to at least get it back on the road just not up to the standards i would like tho. oh well. i have finally made some more actual progress like, installed the new power body harness, dash completely out to the firewall for drilling and installing the manual parts. 2 door has also had the engine bay molested for all the donor parts including the trans mounts front k frame and struts. pictures should describe alot more. so please laugh as i destroy one car to create another.

thanks guys for the support. progress should continue tomorrow on to threw the next couple days. was held of today by the wife and weather. i do have a couple other things i will be trying to add to the list of mods.

well today i got the manual trans mounts welded in front k-frame and suspension swapped in along with the shifter/cables and tilt steering column swapped over. tomorrow will be the rest of the wiring install and hopefully be dropping in the motor to. i'm thinking that by mid next week she might actually be drivable.

yes i chose the flat black engine bay because there will be alot of changes going on and i can't afford to repaint it everytime i shave something out of the engine bay. so until i'm done with all those mods she shall stay flat black. now on with pics.

oh you know i am, david. also entertain the thought of coolant bottle relocate. the battery will be moved to the trunk, the ecm will be relocated in cabin, cruise control will be located in the wiper cowl, also thinking of polishing the ac lines to. lol. so much to do so little time.

moar progress. i was very excited the the mounts lined up so well and that everything went smooth. no progress tomorrow but should have it running wednesday. i am just so excited.

this wiring mess will be cleaned up. also will have most of the wires hidden or if seen they will more organized than factory. i will be relocating the fuse panel and abs module out of site. since i like my abs.
