When you back off the throttle that pressure goes backwards through the charge pipes and out the bov, the farther the bov is the less responsive it will be as the pressure has to travel farther before being released. Look up compressor surge on youtube or whatever.
I may have missed it but what bov are planning on using? Love how this setup is going together so far, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
Im going to get a Turbosmart Vee-port BOV

I havnt heard anything bad about turbosmart bov's, but from the different bov's Ive owned when setup correctly the tial perfomed the best hands down. Cant go wrong with tial
I am using a turbosmart 38mm wastegate so I figured id just use there BOV too. That and the cost of Tial products is more. If I had a bigger wallet id be going with Tial for sure

Got my pulley from Mikes GP
Working on finishing up the wiring and mounting BOV etc. Creeping closer to the end

Looking great man, keep up the good work!
Picked up a HKS BOV and mounted it
I was not happy with just a big hole cut out in the bumper so I decided to use a peice of stainless to fill it in and yes I know my bumper is dirty lol its been sitting since last august
I just picked up a greddy catch can and have also started ordering parts for the downpipe and wastegate dump. This is really my last big hurdle as far as the build goes, my plan is to use stainless steele of course and a couple v bands as well. Should turn out really nice when im done. Il have some pics of it in the next week or so.

that looks a whole hell of a lot cleaner than a giant hole in the bumper. nice work! love it as usual!
I would put a lip on those pipes so the clamps have something to grab onto. So when you turn up the boost you don't end up with pipes popin loose.

I wont be running anything crazy for boost through this block. Im going to start at 7psi and make my way into the 10 range if I decide later. I dont think im going to have any troubles with pipes poping off. Iv got a couple friends pushing 15-20 and they dont seem to have a problem with it. Thanks for your input though

I ran 9psi on mine, with high quality silicone couplers, t-bolt clamps and ended up trying adhesive spray under the couplers and still kepy blowing them off. I hope you have better luck than I did, lol.
Any new pics man?

l do my best to grab some in the next couple days. Wiring is almost done and so are the fuel lines. All I really have to finish is the exhaust and some small stuff. Im going on vacation in a couple weeks so progress is going to slow down until August
