For an update, I spoke with the officer in charge of my case yesterday, he said that his local police are very familiar with the whole family, and that they have a drug problem, and this is how they supply that habit....sweet.
He is taking my case slowly, at the pace of HIS local police, so that he has a better chance of them taking on the case, and being able to handle it locally.
Next time I talk to him, I will ask him if federal involvment should be considered.
so......anybody get a refund today???

I just want to recap from my POV here on how similar this is in so many ways...I just dont see how this cant be the same guy
1) his email just so happens to begin with Brandon, yet he claims his name is Scott....and its a comcast address like noted in this thread earlier(which could be coincidence)
2) his user name in profile just so happens to share the same "izzle"
3) he is selling JL products that are VERY similar in description to Bowman.
4) He is also from the same area in Indiana
5) He comes into the Mid-East forum and makes a post about being new here, yet he's been here before and scammed once before.
6) He also somehow immediately knows to check this post and claim hes not Bowman. If you were new to the site, how would you know where to look, or why.
IDK, just seems like too many concidence factors IMO. If I'm wrong, I appologise, but with all those factors in mind, I wouldnt give a 2nd thought to dealing with him

How do people like this stay out of jail? And certainly the owner/mods on this site can ban his IP. Why let this POS keep ripping people off. I myself have all but given up on private sales unless I know the person or go pick it up myself. This kind of POS has made me and others stop buying on line, what a shame.I just hope the popo is not too busy with tint and exhaust stops to catch this ass.

Well, some great news.
I talked to my local police, who was successful in having HIS local police take the case. Due to the number of complaints they have had against him, he will be going away for a long time. If you have NOT been successful in filing charges through YOUR local police, hit me up, I will give you contact info for the detectives, and officers working his case in his jurisdiction.
