Thats the impression I got as well.
But the lazy/inept cop comment seems appropriate. I basically got lucky this time around with who I got to represent my case, who had the necessary expirience to get the job done. Either way, I am satisfied with the outcome.....I would be MORE satisfied with getting my money back in the process.

As an update....
I have gotten these emails dince the last update:
John our lawyer has advised me not to pay anything yet because he advised me that if you drop the charges the state will still press the charges because they were already filed. Any new updates i will let you know. Thanks
and
also his fiance emily goodrich which who picked them up was arressted last night on the case and they have 2 babies and she breast feeds so this is a bunch of crap and noway her family can help her out either. I know it sounds bad but u could of waiting on filing charges until after the 28th because brandon was going to send you money on the 20th and know since emily picked it up Only because she had to because brandon was working and out of time sometimes she is being charged with a felony also.

I was in a similar situation, along with some other members here years ago. I ended up getting some of the parts I paid for, and just gave up after that. Now I only do business with the better-known members of this site.

Same here but not surprised. It seems they make poor choices on a regular basis so it should be no surprise they were not responsible enough to use birth control. The sad part is I bet the we are paying through government handouts for their indiscretion (not using birth control) and the kids that came as a result. Now the cycle starts again. I saw in the classifeds that Keith Hopmann, keith4g63, that was selling a turbo from a car that he had on it. I looked him up and saw that hes big in the car audio forum, so i figured id give him a shot. it was 1400 for the turbo. Hahn Racecraft Stage One.
