I don't know about the rest of you, but SunCavi reminds me A LOT of Crash...and that's not a good thing. The only difference is at least his car runs...

Event I appreciate, it and all you people can hate all you want, but I can care less.
NJHK, somehow I couldn't help but direct your last post to me like everything else NEGATIVE in this thread, and I am what I am, regardless of my car, and I have done a lot for the people on the ORG for almost 6 years now.

Just recently I started hitting pretty nice numbers for a J, and then everyone thinks I am arrogant and cocky for being excited about my progress so far.
What a bunch you all are.
A man can simply be happy about himself, and all he gets is HATE!!!
DJ posted about his 12's and noone told him anything, but I get crap, OH WELL.....

Rodimus, I seriously think that you have multiple personalities and all of them are pretty bad. You also, have a very weak vocabulary kin of a third grader.
One of them is and @!#$.
Second still an @!#$,
Third a douche,
And the last one is a SLOW CAR OWNER and a douche.

BTW, why are you talking crap about me?? Did I say anything about you??
But I WILL give you a NICE PIECE of ADVICE.
Go take the BELT of your CHARGER and RUN 14's!!!! lmao More like 17's after you do that.
You have to deal with the FACTS, show cars don't WIN races, and race cars don't WIN shows, you lose ANYWAYS, for being slow, and having an UGLY ASS CAR.!!!!
LOL
Last time I checked this IS a PERFORMANCE FORUM, so we talk about something that you HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT, so EXCLUDE YOURSLEF.

Thanks to people that give props, a BIG ***** to HATERS!!!

OHV Notec, not once did I say anything bad about OHV's until bad was said about LD9 and L61 power plant, did I??
I can remind you of Crash or not, but I am NOT one here talking about getting a custom made Titanium crankshaft, all my mods EXIST!!!

It's more your...let's go with 'EXTREMELY OPTIMISTIC', view towards your car that correlate. And the WAY you talk about things. You have actually done something and shown something with your car, unlike him, I'll give you that. You also manage to use punctuation every once in a while, a major advantage on your side.
So, how did his custom Ti crank come along? Did he ever even sell his car, or is he still posting videos of him cranking the engine over on some other forum?

I personally didn't have any type of problem with you, was never hating on you and I think your #s and times are impessive. My issue was your statement as far as you saying that there is no way that an OHV can beat you and how "rich" you are. First of all, no one cares if you are rich or not and you realized this after we posted about this, then all of a sudden it's "I just said it cause I knew he was going to say it first", which I think is BS. For you to even think that X motor or X car could never beat you is stupid and ignorant.

And you say that you are what you are regardless of your car? If this post was still made but you DIDN'T have a low 13 second car, would you have sounded like such a jerk torwards anyone if you had a mid 15 second car, would you? Do you see my point?

Anyway, back on topic -
If someone would make a 16 valve head for an OHV I think that would open up the possibilities much more. It would make me seriously rethink swapping to an LD9.

Re: Stop bitching!

^^^^That would never be possible, unless somehow magically your cam grows 8 more lobes, and 8 more lifters and pushrods suddenly appear in your block.

I think someone could figure out how to make 2 valves open with one pushrod.
No magic involved

It's always nice when people who say "never" set goals for people who say "maybe."

I think someone already has. A similar product was sold by Westlake many years ago,. Now this company is selling a new version. 4 valve heads for 2 valve engine

What was happening after the 1/8th mile? Well, the header was cracked, the MSD was acting up, and the air/fuel was off the chart rich in the upper RPMs.
The crack in the header was fixed about 2 weeks ago, fixed the MSD today, and leaned out the fuel in the upper RPMs today......

I just got back from the 1/4th track, but didnt really have any good runs....
The best run was a 13.2 @ 108mph spinning the slicks in 1st gear while banging off of the rev limier.

Today spinning through 1st gear and hitting rev limiter:
60ft 2.09
1/8th mile 8.611 @ 85.34mph
1/4th 13.20

Versus

2 months ago 1/8th mile with traction:
60ft 1.8 60ft
1/8th 8.42 @ 80.73 mph

Give me about 2 weeks to order a new clutch, and get back out to the 1/4th when they have better track prep. When I start back with the 1.8 60 fts, this 2.2 ohv will be in the 12s.

Not too bad for a 2.2 ohv running 13psi.

275hp & 306tq - 1999 2.2 ohv
13.2 @ 108 mph
-1996 2.4 liter + Turbo + Built motor + Torco + More boost = Lots o' Power
-2000 Mustang GT + 2004 Cobra motor, Whipple 2.3 supercharger,
built rear-end,Dodge Viper spec T56 6 speed, bolt-ons = wheelies at the track!!!!!

I love my 2200SFI engine Reliable starts in cold weather and, since the maintenance of this engine is quite simple, I can learn how to do it. It's my first car after all! ......When the engine retires, I'll swap it for an Ecotec engine

Hmmmmm....... now, SunCavi, do you think that a 13.2 is close enough to your 13.1 now?

i'm new and here to make waves, first off; if your complaining its hard to upgrade an OHV you aint' experienced hard till you've lived oversea's and tried to do it. but i still give them d*mn bmw's and opel's and anything else on the autobahn a run for there money.
it's not just whats under the hood but how you drive it. second, I come back to sweet old ohio in a month or two and look out cause the modding is going to be through the roof.

look for me a lot in the future ya'll. I'm in love with tuning and about to get hot and heavy with it when i hit stateside.

and just for the record all i got is an L4i with a cold air intake

jake porter where will you live in ohio? more ohio j-bodies yay. and this topic is a disgust to the org. flamming fellow cav members because they have an ohv engine is pointless. sure, the eco and the ld9's have more hp stock, but with time and a few bucks anything can be attainable. those of you who are flamming should appologize , your like children.

can this post be deleted? lol
