Another not on the cost - if you pick up a "complete" LE5, you get an LE5 intake, which sells very easily here or on css.net. You also get a 2.4 electonic throttle, which the 2.2 cobalt guys upgrade w/ the manifold, and of course you get a complete head/cams/valvetrain. If your patient, you can get just the bottom end you need for around 250-300 once all the unneeded goodies are sold. Granted you have to shell out for the trigger wheel, oilpan and tstat housing, but the overall cost after parting out is still impressive. Consider that you may have a working L61 block to sell after the swap as well.
I saw this topic on was quickly scrolling by and that LE61T said LEGIT. ha. That is all.
Slocav ill post one when i get home. Or look on my fb. Phillip Gruver.

So then what about the 2.3, 2.8, and 3.1 those were all real Z24's
Regardless what engine is in the car it still began life as a Z24 so it will remain a Z24.

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.
