well i got a lot LESS done than I had anticipated... but all this week is the wiring extravaganza. I've decided the car has sat idle for too long.. its time to start really diving into this shizz and getting it DONE.
updates coming throughout the week.
PJ let me know what day you want me to head down there and I'll help you with the wiring

RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
PJ, looking great. just an opinion... I'd take that strut brace off and use the GM vert one. I think it'll clean the engine bay up just a bit more.

Primer Counts as Custom Paint Right?
BTW: This is my Sig.
i'm thinkin the rksport front strut brace.. very similar to the GM one
the vibrant is too much in the way. Or, I'll make a custom bar to replace the one and just use the strut rings.
I have to remake my clutch fluid reservoir bracket too.. unless I can get a bar to clear it
that engine bay looks insainly clean especially with the overflow reservoir and fuse box missin...

ordered the main wiring for the big 3.. goin to 4ga. and streetwires connections for the battery.
I've also been redesigning the cooling system.. initially planned on reusing the stock coolant reservoir, but I've fallen in love with it NOT being in there, so I've redesigned the layout of the cooling system and ordered a meziere expansion tank and appropriate lines to connect to the cooling system.
I've also modified the LSJ's oil cooler to accept -AN fittings for the cooling hookups. Now my lower radiator hose will be all -AN fittings and hoses and I'm very confident the layout will work exactly as planned.
Everything is moving along beautifully. The big3 wiring arrives monday and I work on getting the car to have electrical power again for the first time since April.
I also began mocking up the MSD coils and routing the plug wires.
Peej...
Make sure your coolant bottle is higher then the rest of the system or you could have air get trapped in the head and overheat without even knowing.
no worries tom
the tank is going to fit right up against the firewall and the cap will be just below the top of the strut tower should be plenty high
I wired up 90% of the battery connections today, all thats left is the underhood relay box (that I've moved under the dashboard) but I ran out of light today.
i started dissecting the wiring harness and tracing down grounds so I can relocate/ extend them
i'll post up some pictures tomorrow
battery wiring started
lower rad hose almost complete
close up of oil cooler with fittings
the electrical nightmare ball
I've ordered some aluminum to make the coil mount, should be finished tomorrow. I need to order some more AN fittings for the cooling lines, the expansion tank, and some fittings and hoses for the fuel pump still.
I'm running out of things to do before the electrical... which will be the last step. But I reconnected the body to engine interface and touched the red wire from the battery to the relay box and the car had power for the first time. The interior light popped on and I pushed the trunk release button which worked the way its supposed to
it gets ever closer...
Sick build man!! Lookin forward to new vids on youtube!!

How did the power steering work out??
still working on the PS pump (the idea still holds true, but the initial design is a flop. I'm going to machine a new bracket instead of welding it
the lower rad hose has been ditched, and is getting redone in -16AN (-12 is way too small) i'm also opting for black and blue this time
but small update, today I finished the coil mount. machined out of aluminum this time instead of like my old one which was made from steel
I decided to give it a little shape instead of just boring side by side. It makes it slightly more compact this way, and allows the wire boots to flow without obstruction. its spaced about 1/2" off the side of the engine
