I got called today from GM performance and they said they wait until they get a lot of orders and then they produce them. They now have enough orders and will be shipped out next week.
paceparts.com has the 2.4 charger for $2300 and the eco one for $2900. it says you have to preorder the eco one though...

Hmmmm. He never told me that. If its shady when I get there I'll take a negative feedback before I risk the 3k. I talked to the guy twice and he told me yes it was a complete kit down to every last bolt, he kept insureing everything was legit. The one thing that did kinda make me wonder though was that the manifild look absolutly new and the charger almost looks to have some oxidation on it. I called him today though and told that if every part on the list wasnt on there I wasnt taking it and he said "uhh..ok."

dude schrams is a legit place man................they get all of GM's handme downs. They are legitimate. They deal with alot of gm promotional vehicles theat have to be crushed because they are preproduction vehicles. i.e. gm sema vehicles and what not.
I got the Gm performance leather/neoprene seat covers embroidered for the sunfire from them for 50 bucks shipped no problems.
they are just giving you a hard time cause you got it before alot of people........you didnt get it first you just got it before other people. Now get over it man.

i am just glad it is out. btw how do you tell if an 02 has the delphi style injectors? my wifes 03 cav has a differant looking fuel rail so i do not think i can get the charger for my 02 fire...
As of this morning its no longer a ship direct part and is just curently out of stock. They have no delivery date at this time.
Like I said before you can order it now but they still don't have any yet.

All dealers are going to say that, they go by the information on their computer, you have to call 1-800-GMUSEUS and hit 0 and tell the operator you want to talk to technical support. They will tell you the right way to get the charger in your hands as soon as possible. Thats how I got mine coming to me next week. Good Luck!!
Next week huh ? I want to see some install pics cause GM doesn't even have any of these to sell yet. And yes I checked my computer AND called. None of the GM certified assesories shops have it yet either.

UPDATE: Most recent info from GM says that this product is in the final stages of durability testing and a further update will be provided on February 23rd. But as of now it is not yet available.

I checked out the GM Goodwrench website, and it comes with either an auto or man. reflash. They claim that with the rest of the engine stock it will produce up to 250 hp and maintain the mileage of a stock 2.2.

I have a newbie question... I know that an intercooler for a turbo cools the air going in the intake... thus making more power and being less damaging on the engine...
Is it the same for an intercooler on a roots type s/c setup ? It's probably just me but I don't understand where the intercooler should go since the s/c is directly attached to the intake manifold.
