Darren - Perfect car imo, sleeper status w/ mega awesome engine bay, that'd be 1 of the few Z24's I'd ever drive. I love the new wheels, and I know once it's assembled and lowered it's only going to get better... That is some sweet ish man!

I'm with -MD- on this one, the camaro needs to be prettied up, ever think of polishing a carb? lol amazing work Chris, too bad the starter is getting neglected
Starter is very hidden. lol
Thanks alot Chris, the way I figure it, the longer I leave it there, the more it gets polished.
I will pick it up in a couple months.

Got the heater box and pedals back in along with the firewall sound deadening.

I have the CF Tech extractor hood. It dips down a fair bit lower than the RK hood. I had to modify the throttle bracket for the 2.4SC swap I did last year because he had the same hood.
approved......very clean indeed
now in for MOAR pics that are hopefully bigger

Cleanest 2.4 ever hands down. Hands way down.
So its been one hell of a long weekend.
Here is what went down.
Friday: Showed up at Robs around 630. Pushed the car in. Rob opened up the whole engine harness and eliminated everything that wasnt needed. And by eliminate, I mean removing it pin to pin, no wire cutting involved in that process. He then started to wire the front part of the engine.
I got the car up, completely stripped what was left under the car except for the rear axle. I then wirewheeled the whole underbody, covered up the whole car and layed down 2 coats of etching primer. (Thanx for the idea Wayde)
Saturday we were at the shop for around 1030. I had some running around to do for parts while Rob continued with the harness, He concentrated on the rear of the engine. I Ryno lined under the car and swapped out the springs on my coilovers for the lower ones. We then called it a day and got out of the shop early.
Sunday was the big day. We got the engine off the stand and onto the dolley. We installed the clutch and mounted the transmission to the engine. (You might noticed that I swapped to a 2 piece pass side axle from a 97.) We did a little more prep and lowered the car onto the powertrain. Rob then spent a good 8 hours extended, splicing and pinning in the new firewall connectors on both the engine side and interior side. I put a couple coats of etching primer and ryno liner on the new tank and fuel lines and swapped over the rear springs. We finally left the shop around 1am completely exhausted.
Cleaned and somewhat polished the shifter cable bracket.
Monday we put in the front struts, repaired a broken subframe nut , installed the subframe and spindles, got all the brakes, power steering lines and rack hooked up and instaleld the gas tank and hooked up the lines. We then spent the next 2 hours trying to properly bleed the brakes while attempting to fix the disaster that was Robs shop. We then put the front and rims back on and finally got it outside.
TAAADAAAAAA!
We should have it running sometime this week and tie up the loose ends, like the cooling system
Man, bad a$$
