Nice work man, crazy how fast you got it done. Are you going to keep the car white after you swap your old hood and lights over? I think it looks hawt with the 02 front end on it, but im sure you will make it look good. Whats planed next for it

I applaud you on the swap... Nice job.

But it doesnt do the motor any good if you keep that filter right there on the turbo BY the exhaust manifold.. . Get a pipe on that biotch and extend it.

Well all the parts I wanted from the 04 are installed in the 01 now.

Couldn't handle the no tilt thing it was driving me nuts.

Oh and what do we have here...

A VIDEO!!!

Not the longest of vids, but hey it works.

As for what's next, well rk lip kit was still ok off the 04 so that's goin on, along w/ the hood headlights and the front lip. A new rsv is in the works as well, soon enough on that. Gotta get a new tie rod and balljoint for the nwf and that's goin back on probably this weekend. It's shaping up to be a beautiful car. I'm already in love and the blue one isn't even gone yet.

Thanks again guys, and once again could not have accomplished this without some help from the Monkey Man and McLovin. Thanks guys.

Lights, it didn't work thru the radio for some reason so I just grabbed the power from the lighter and put a switch on it. And the other button, that's my starter button lol.

Brad the 01 is the most basic Cavalier you can get, the damn thing doesn't even have a stock sway bar, and only 14's, thing about the 14's is, I can't even get all the way into it till i'm super high in the r's or i have no traction. It sucks but it's kinda cool at the same time.

I just realized...that's the first vid of my car movin since the build and all my new toys

That's 2 comments on the car "moving" really good. WOW, guess I've just gotten used to it lol. Anyone happen to notice how pig rich it was wot, yeah mid 10's for afr's, there's tons of room for improvement on that, still working on the fuel pump tune, that thing is a lot more pain than I thought it was gonna be, oh well I'll get her locked in and really hauling ass, when I take the boost from 14.5 psi up to about 20 or so.

wow, i did not know base's didnt come with a tilt wheel.

lol i guess thats amazingly another option my black 97 z has over a base.

Re: Project Phoenix
Wednesday, July 09, 2008 7:22 PM
It may not have a tilt wheel, but id prefer a Turbo Eco over a tilt wheel if it came down to it lol

Re: Project Phoenix

well i guess it all comes down to exactly where and how is positioned, i dont use my tilt in any of my cars, as long as they are in the right position all the time i mean...

but really curt, 95-02 wheel > 03-05 wheel
