You must be pulling some high G forces if you starve the oil pump!
I'm gonna hit 40k miles probably this weekend. sitting on 39,943 miles. 01 2.4
My 98 Z24 just rolled over 245 000 hard k's and still runs great. Goin' for 300 +.
my 99 z24 has 85K but it was sitting for about 2 years cause of my grades. but it ran great till i let someone drive it and there was bad oil. so yea in a few weeks itll be 0 miles. on the engine at least.
my 2001 z24 got about 24,000
110,000 miles and runs good.
2001 cavy 2.4 with 130,000 and it runs like crap. once one thing screwes at all goes down hill. needs rebuilt but im just gonna run it till i can affort to get a new block and turbo the bastard.
79,500 on my '01 Z24. No problems accept the digits on the odometer are sometimes flashing or sort of blinking on and off and displaying garbled numbers and have to press the trip odometer reset lever to read the mileage (I've read this a common problem)
just passed 100k on my 99 Z24. We have serious dash cracking issues. but who doesent? Runs real good, plenty oif power left. Just put in B&M short shift. I really like it, I hear people had problems with theirs, but mine seems to be working fine (knock on wood). upgrading the suspension real soon. 100k mi on stock struts and shocks is just about enough for me.
later,
Steve
My other car is an interceptor.

i dont have any cracks in my dash.. even with 139,000kms, lowered on @!#$ty stock struts(no worries before it gets driven again it will have d-specs) and with a system my interior was rattle free... suprising for a 10yr old car... considering my buddies 02 Z24 when new rattled worse than my 91 Daytona, i'm happy.
About to have a 69,000 mile chassis and a 35K motor. I just need to fix that dash it is not splitting in a third location. They need to hurry with that bash cover thing.

98 z24 has 110,600 miles, and still runs like brand new.
i just rolled 132,000 miles on my "96".
A little maintenance goes a long way.

Brandon - Can you tell us your oil change intervals and oil make preferences please?
Lets see, on my 98 Vert, 62K
Blew up tranny at 55K, put a new one in with 18K on it
Blew Up a 60K motor, rod out the side.
New motor with 41K, 3K SC miles and spun a bearing thats coming out
New fully built motor going in next month.
MY GFs Vert
It has had 4 engines in it, first one went 117K, the next was junk and blew up on start up, the kid rebuilt the motor and spun another bearing, then I bought it and put a new motor in it with 76K, has about 82K on it now and runs good.
Her tranny is original 5 speed 123K, grinds like no other in 2,3,4 gears.
I hate these motors and trannies, you all have no idea! What a waste, I am an idiot, I should just buy a CTS-V.
Oh well, gonna keep dumping money in this stupid thing.
