unpainted @!#$. As in all these body parts you throw at it then change 2 weeks later. Sorry, @!#$ gets old. I prefer cars that do more than change front ends and wheels. Your car your choice. Although my post was out of line, there is no need to trash this thread.
Get that rack on there, interested in the outcome.
Other then having the ET front for a week or two my car has looked the same for over a year. But thanks for noticing.

To be honest, we are going to have to wait and see. Thats why Rob wont be selling these until i have put a couple months of driving into it. We want to make sure of 2 things:
That it will function like a manual rack.
That it wont have premature failure due to no fluid.
The 2nd problem SHOULDNT be too much of an issue since we PACKED it full of grease. We are thinking of adding grease nipples just incase, but we will see how testing goes.
Careful with putting too much grease as it itself is hydraulic, so if there is any sort of seal at all left it can cause pressure, just a heads up.
Did you roughly follow the right up on the Miata site for this? I will be doing this in the near future on my new build, so let me know how it works out!

The main thing that we are worried about is if it does get over greased, then it will start being forced out of the boots on the end. Theres is no seal at all seperating the 2 end anymore. We loosely followed the write up on flying miata, but just for removing the seal. Taking apart the rack was very different though.
Aaaaaand, the reason I went back to stock front...
